I hunt at night in FL so snake boots are essential. Most of the weight comes from the leather concentrated at the foot are and the rubber on the soles. The MudLites have a sort of cooling system in them, and it works. What about the soles, are they holding up well? I just returned them and got a pair of lacrosse ruber proof scent free.
Rocky's Knee high Snake Boots. These are the ones I wear. I bought a pair a couple of years ago and overall have been happy with them. Great defense against rattlesnakes! Find all posts by hambone But, I could have cared less about that.

I will describe the item to the best of my ability. Send us a message for more information. Don't forget to look at a good hiking store, there are some real good hiking boots that can really work well for bird hunting and long walks in the woods. I like my Danners too. Worn in the woods twice.
I used a pair of Cordura boots for years that had a gortex liner in them. Ask them about the replacement policy before buying. A buddy told me that the other day and I was like.. They are super comfortable, but I cannot stand wet feet. The ones that I have are NOT insulated. Sent from my tree stand. There is no middle ground.
